This short stretch of the coast path is some of the most challenging of the whole route. A former mining area, there is still much evidence of the tough way of life. It is rugged and remote in places. The trail hugs the coastline on its way down to Lands End which is the most westerly tip of the UK before turning the corner and making its way to Penzance. Wild flowers on the cliff tops with turquoise seas below, golden sanded beaches with superb views.
